Irrigation bags have a drip system which optimize the tree rootsystem- development. The tree "thinks" that irrigation is rain coming in lower doses for each day.

During the first hours providing irrigation bags more water recharges the tree's energy reserves. Slowly reduce the amount of drip irrigation bags give off. This gives the newly planted trees or shrubs safer establishment. Towards the end of the irrigation bag cycle, the tree begins to feel a lesser form of stress when the water reduces. During this time, the tree is most active in terms of producing new roots, it will do anything to survive. When (after) the bag is empty, filling with water the cycle starts.
